Happy Holidays

Hey everyone... I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New year. Well things have been crazy around here. We went to Indiana to visit the Heidinger family for Christmas. It was the first time that Gracie was there. It was alot of fun seeing her try to open her gifts and watching her go right past them and straight to the tissue paper:) We got to see some other friends there and they all got to meet Gracie. We also went to NY for a Christmas party and met tons more people. Aunt Ellen and Uncle Robert and the boys came up from Georgia to visit and stayed almost a week and left Christmas Eve Morning. Needless to say.. Gracie has made so many new friends:) It was wonderful to have my best friend and her family here around the holidays. I really miss them alot!!! Love you guys!!! My mom and dad came to spend Christmas morning with us and then when they left Monday... Mom Heidinger, Shanda and Kelsey came to visit on Tuesday and stayed and rang in the new year with us. It was great to have them here. OH yeah.... AND on Dec 22nd... MOM ( that would be me) went snow boarding and fractured my left elbow... so .... Needless to say... I am so happy that I had all that help!!! I really needed it... and thank you to you all. I am getting better but I still cant extend my arm all the way and it hurts alot ... doesnt help when Gracie grabs it and pulls or gets squirmy... changing diapers is even more of an adventure now...injured and with a wiggle worm! Other than that Drama... we are all doing great and ready to start a new year. 2005 was very eventfull for us... some good and some bad. We bought a new house, Gracie was born, My brother graduated and left for the Army, My 10 year class reunion, Me starting my Pampered Chef Business, The Kelly Clarkson Concert---WAY GOOD!!!, The death of two good friends and a very special aunt. ( we will miss you eternally), Gracie's first Christmas, and New Year. WOW... some years are eventfull and other arent but when they are... we learn so much and appreciate things differently. This year I have learned a love that I didnt know I had. I was reminded that we are not promised tomarrow... so tell the ones you love how you feel and dont take each day for granted. Spend time with the friends and family and put them first. Take time for yourself and try to be the person that God knows you can be. Think about what 2005 has taught you ... Well take care and please keep in touch. Love you all...Happy New Year- Denah
